2oth June 2009 – I finished my last examinations in NUS, hopefully. It’s amazing how I managed to survive through all these because university examinations are insane! There were many times when the results simply do not reflect the amount of  work I’ve put in, and many a times I simply tell myself that it’s useless to work hard anymore. The grades are more or less there and nothing done would change it.

Anyways I had jas to celebrate my examinations finale with me. (:

Destination 1 was Haw Par Villa, a place that I’ve always wanted to visit. I remembered how it used to be very crowded when I was younger, yet that visit yesterday was disappointing. The weather was very hot, there was not much people around, the statues look really old and dirty. To top it all, all the fun attractions such as the boat rides were all gone! ): boo. nevertheless, im still glad that i managed to visit the place. It made me miss Tang Dynasty, my favourite place that used to be at Taman Jurong and is no longer around now.

Destination 2: Tanjong Pagar Railway Station

It was a last minute decision to visit the railway station as both of us have never been to a railway station before. It was such an exciting expedition and we were happily discussing our imagination of the Singapore railway station! It’s my first to be so near the railway tracks and I absolutely love every moment of the time spent there. Too bad we didn’t manage to catch a train pulling into the station ): That would have made the entire expedition a complete one.

Max Brenners @ Esplanade was next on the list. The cocoa smell throughout the entire cafe was awesome! I <3 the chocolate fondue and the drinks there! Their drinks are served with this hard straw which is torturous cause I have a tendency to bite on my straws. gosh. I'm craving for the fondue again! ):

Then it was milenia walk and suntec city. My legs ached when I reached home last night. Think I’m growing old =x Oh did I mention that I need to do a search on my blog posts as I am tasked to find out when and how is it that jas and I became close back during the poly days. Seriously, I cant even remember…

I was out with mr. chan yesterday night and came across this phrase while browsing around at popular. When translated to english, it reads:

Regardless of the number of dates/relationships, you’ll never find true bliss unless you treat the root of the problem

Which I think is quite true. But then again, maybe miss chua is right. I tend to think more than I should. My life would definitely been better if I could leave things as they are, let things happen as they should. ):

And anyways I have decided, though I’ve said it many a times before. This time, I’m saying this with a huge amount of determination, not only because I think I’ve tolerated enough of your nonsense, but also because I think I’ve heard enough to determine your final character. So I thank you for the wonderful times, the bad times too. I’ll leave NUS with these and maybe one day, if you have decided to treat me more like a friend, we can meet up over coffee like the good old days.

I think I ought to start studying with exams in like a week’s time. B plus is needed for both mods. im screwed.

its over! ): the concert was great, and i mean seriously. it sure was like gazillion times better than the fahrenheit one. despite him being sick, his voice was superb- together with the songs.
im so emo now that its over. whenever i open my cupboard and look at those tickets, it’ll be like a source of motivation cause i know this wonderful day is coming. yet today, its over in a blink of the eye. sighs.

Its weird how I’ve managed not to contact you for such a while. Yet when you speak to me, I’ll go all soft and like what jim says, “fuzzy wazzy”. Sometimes I really don’t know what you are thinking about. Please let me go quietly if things are like what your nick says. Will you?

I had a wonderful time with BESTFRIEND, ah dear and pei pei on Friday. We had a mini-mugging session which consisted of sharing of little gossips, eating chocs and cheese cakes, receiving balloons yada yada. AND YES! that is still considered as a mugging session cause it all took place in the Central Library. HEH.

And then I had a really KUKU outing with lespair. Its weird how we haven gone out in a really long long time and yet, I still manage to enjoy her company. (: Weird things happen when she is around, like going to east coast park for lunch ONLY and then staying at the breakwaters for 5 minutes just to take pictures to say that we’ve been there, going to watch BRIDES WAR at a really uber boring mall – Kallang Leisure Park and the 1 hour to kill before the movie was absolutely a torture. And we took a cab to marina barrage and the cab driver did not even know how to go!

We were so bored at the boring town that we had our fortune told by some scary machine.

no wonder no one speaks well of me =/

We saw this guy at the marina barrage trying to set up a whole lot of lightsticks to supposedly form those kind of love messages for someone. how i wish i could have seen the whole effects of it &/or his gf’s face when she sees the effort. Cause I’ll be so angry at that guy for embarrassing me if i were his gf.

I’ve finally gotten down to writing again(:

I’ve always wanted to blog, amist my self-declared busy schedule. Guess I just couldnt find the time. Anyhows is this my first post for 2009? I can’t remember. NUSSU Bash was great, thanks to every single member of the team. I made some new friends whom I’ve grown to love, including the great bitching times we have.

You know how I always believe that the number of friends you can have is a constant – meaning you make some and you lose some. Im wondering who did I lose this time round. sighs. ):

Chinese New Year flew by, and Im still sick! every single day since chinese new year. hopefully i recover soon, cause im sick of being sick! lol

School’s a goner. I’ve skipped classes, slept in classes, attended classes but have absolutely no clue what the lecturer is saying, missed project deadlines and what have you. Im trying to catch up on everything, and hopefully, I’ll be able to pick things up and pull up my cap before it goes any further.

V-days round the corner. I wonder what he is doing. BESTFRIEND is going to scold me again for thinking about him, but then again, she is too busy to read my blog. Its been almost one and a half years…

Despite this, I have actually dropped a few presents down your chimney in the past few days. This include a lower CAP score, a lazy mood that makes you miss the bizcom as well as the royals xmas celebrations, and lastly a good hard knock on your head outside your grandma’s house.
